The material of the anti overflow skirt edge is not suitable. If the material of the baffle is too hard, or if the canvas is exposed due to the use of an old conveyor belt, resulting in direct contact with the conveyor belt, a suitable rubber anti overflow skirt edge should be selected.
The feeding direction is not appropriate, that is, the direction in which the material falls is different from the running direction of the conveyor belt, resulting in lateral force, causing the conveyor belt to deviate or suffer from increased wear. The feeding direction should be adjusted.
The improper angle and drop of the material are caused. The angle should be reduced to prevent the material from bouncing when it falls onto the conveyor belt. When the drop is large and the conveyor belt is greatly impacted, measures should be taken to reduce the speed of feeding.
The incorrect material dropping speed is caused by the improper adjustment of the material dropping speed and the speed of the conveyor belt. When the material falls on the conveyor belt, it slips instantly, causing wear on the cover rubber. Therefore, it is necessary to adjust the dropping speed to be consistent with the speed of the conveyor belt.
If there is something stuck to the lower roller, it does not rotate or is not adjusted properly, and the upper cover rubber is abnormally worn, the following methods should be taken: installing a cleaner, cleaning the conveyor belt, installing a rubber wrap on the return roller, repairing or replacing the return roller.
